About Us

At Lighthouse Outreach, we aim to make a difference in the lives of young individuals by providing them with the necessary support and guidance to overcome their challenges and thrive in life. We are a unique outreach service supporting children and young people with social emotional and mental health (SEMH) and special educational needs (SEN). We additionally provide our services to the parents and guardians of the children and young people we support. We support colleagues in schools in Herts, Luton, Beds, and Bucks through outreach services.

Our Mission

We are committed to providing a thoughtful service aimed at improving understanding of children's SEMH requirements to promote inclusive practices in educational settings. We represent leading individuals through the challenges and difficult times in life. We provide support, safety, positivity, and improve understanding of children and young people's SEMH. We highlight the importance of maintaining focus, making educated decisions, and managing challenges or uncertainty. We favour a holistic approach, by including parents, guardians, external sources of information, advice and guidance, employers, and other community organisations. We recognise our legal responsibilities to promote and support physical health and mental wellbeing in educational institutions.
